(March 1, 2014) - UH did the seemingly impossible, twice. They defeated the No.3 UCLA Bruins, two nights in a row. With many people questioning whether they’d be able to repeat their epic performance from Friday, the Rainbow Warrior’s answered the call and conquered their visitors in five down to the wire sets: 22-25, 25-18, 24-26, 25-16, 15-11.
El Segundo, CA (February 28, 2014) – Oceanic Time Warner Cable and the University of Hawai‘i today announced that they have extended their partnership and that OC Sports continues as the exclusive local home of University of Hawai‘i Athletics. OC Sports will again televise live University of Hawai‘i games and content, including the live “Game On” pre-game show and live post-game reports, as part of the long-term agreement.
“We’re very pleased with the valuable exposure and much-needed revenue that this partnership with Oceanic Time Warner Cable provides the UH Athletics Department,” Ben Jay, UH athletics director, said. “OC Sports telecasts deliver the excitement of UH men’s and women’s sporting events to our loyal fans on all of the islands and allow us to share the athletic and academic successes of our student-athletes, along with the many exciting accomplishments of UH MÄnoa students, faculty, and staff.”
